Calling all eligible male Indian citizens! The District court of Purba Bardhaman has announced recruitment notifications for various Group-D posts including Night Guard, Day Guard, and Gardener. This notification, Employment No. 2/III-9 dated 2nd April 2024, invites applications in the prescribed format to prepare panels for filling up existing and expected vacancies. While appointments will initially be temporary, they are likely to become permanent. Eligibility details given below:

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate must be an Indian Citizen
Candidate must be physically sound and fit.

Age limits:

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years old as of 1st January 2024. There's an age relaxation of five years for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, and three years for OBC candidates. The upper age limit for Ex-Servicemen is as per existing Government Rules.

Education Qualification:

Candidates should have passed Class-VIII or higher from a recognized board or institution.

Salary and Other Allowances:

Selected candidates will be placed in Level 1 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 17,000/- to 43,600/-) under ROPA 2019. They will also receive other allowances as per the existing Government Rules.

Exam Process:

The examination for these posts will be divided into two parts: Part-I and Part-II.

Part-I written examination:

Written MCQs carries 100 mark consisting of 50 questions, each worth 2 marks. Questions will cover topics like General Knowledge, General Intelligence, General English, and arithmetic. For every wrong answer, 2 marks will be deducted. The duration of this examination is one (1) hour.

Part-II Personality Test: After Part-I examination, a certain number of candidates will be selected for a personality test. The personality test carries 50 marks.

Final selection will be based on the total marks obtained in both Part-I and Part-II examinations. The authority has the discretion to set qualifying marks for any or all tests.

For general and Other than SC candidates: Rs. 300/- only

For SC candidates Rs. 100/- only

Application fee can paid by Bank Draft issued by any nationalised Bank on a date after publication of the advertisement, in favour of DJ cum Chairman, DRC Purba Bardhaman payable at Burdwan.
